 With a record of 25 hours and 50 minutes, Ms. Tsang Yin-hung from Hong Kong has become the woman to conquer the roof of the world in the shortest time.

Tsang Yin-hung (44 years old) a Hong Kong climber completed the journey to Mount Everest with a time of 25 hours and 50 minutes on May 23.


Speaking to the press, Nepal's government liaison officer at Everest base station Gyanendra Shrestha said Tsang Yin-hung left the station at 1:20 pm on May 22 and reached the top of the mountain at 3:10 pm the next day.

At the present time, the fastest woman to conquer Everest is Phunjo Jhangmu Lama (Nepal), after climbing to the top of this 8,848.86 meter high mountain in 39 hours and 6 minutes.

Currently, Ms. Tsang Yin-hung is waiting to be recognized and listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

At the present time, the fastest woman to conquer Everest is Phunjo Jhangmu Lama (Nepal), after climbing to the top of this 8,848.86 meter high mountain in 39 hours and 6 minutes.

Nepal has issued 408 permits to climbers to summit Everest for this season after last year's season was canceled due to the pandemic.
